Today's world can be a confusing and sometimes frightening place. The need for accurate, unbiased, reliable information becomes more important, each day.

There are countless individuals, groups and organisations, actively working on plans for our future. Who are they and what are they doing? What are the positive aspects of their work? What should be challenged?

Getting The News Is Not A Passive Tense

The U.N. OBSERVER & International Report is returning to print, this May. It is totally independent of the United Nations and was founded in 1978, to accurately examine the activities of the United Nations and its Member-States.

Everyone on this planet is now affected, to some degree, by the decisions being made at international levels. These decisions will also affect us for generations to come. As a result, there is growing popular frustration from merely "watching the News". This causes both polarisation and apathy in those of us who feel they have no influence on the decision-making process.

Since 1978, the "U.N. OBSERVER" has earned a reputation, within the diplomatic community, for accurate News coverage and unbiased analysis. It also publishes the opposing views of many rival Heads of State, along with the informed opinions of independent experts, shadowing the political agendas of world leaders and their policies. By continuing these same ethical standards, we intend to present opportunities for constructive individual involvement.

Our new monthly printed version will consist of 32 pages, with more color and the long established content of News, analysis and opinion, plus a special photo section and a regular four to eight page Special Supplement, focusing on a particular international problem or a specific international organisation.

Diogenist Press will also publish expanded versions of the Special Supplements, which will be written by U.N. OBSERVER Correspondents and recognised experts in each subject. These book versions will be made available through our website, as well as through other outlets.

While the U.N. OBSERVER will continue regular coverage of the World Bank, International Monetary Fund, World Trade Organization and other economic powerhouses, as well as alternative geopolitical analysts, this information will become even more focused, by bringing it together in a monthly "Economics Section".

As a reader service, the U.N. OBSERVER will also publish regular listings of employment opportunities within the United Nations system and other international organisations, so that the magazine and website will become known as an employment source.

A Geometric Approach

Through an extensive network of strategic alliances, we are now able to augment our own knowledge and experience, by calling upon the expertise of several specialist Research organisations. Through many Internet linkages and more magazine pages, we will be able to provide our readers with an even greater combination of News and analysis of global events.
